A new wave of online speculation is spreading across Korean and Chinese social media platforms after rumors surfaced involving a psychiatrist allegedly connected to several late Korean celebrities, including Jonghyun, Sulli, Goo Hara, and Kim Sae Ron.

According to claims circulating online, a Chinese blogger recently highlighted comments posted under videos from a South Korean psychiatrist identified as Kim S*** **. The doctor is rumored by some netizens to have treated several celebrities who later passed away after struggling with mental health issues.

The controversy intensified after an alleged former patient accused the psychiatrist of prescribing excessively high medication dosages and making emotionally harmful remarks during treatment sessions. The anonymous individual claimed they only realized the prescriptions were allegedly unreasonable after changing to another doctor.
However, none of these allegations have been officially verified, and no confirmed evidence has publicly established a direct connection between the psychiatrist and the late celebrities mentioned online.
The rumors gained even more attention after Korean netizens revisited parts of Jonghyun’s farewell letter, which was originally shared publicly by a close friend following his passing in 2017.

In one widely circulated excerpt, Jonghyun wrote:
“I know very well. The reason I’m suffering is because of myself. Everything is my fault because I’m inadequate. Is that what the doctor wanted to hear? No. I did nothing wrong. When the doctor softly blamed my introverted personality, I thought it was such a simple way of thinking.”
The resurfaced quote reignited discussions online about mental health treatment and the pressures faced by celebrities in the entertainment industry.
Meanwhile, Sulli’s older brother also recently mentioned in a separate discussion that IU had once introduced a psychiatrist to Sulli in the past. Following that statement, some netizens began speculating whether the doctor referenced could be the same individual currently being discussed online.

At this time, the information remains entirely speculative and unverified. Neither the individuals involved nor official representatives have publicly confirmed the claims circulating online.
The situation has nevertheless sparked broader conversations about celebrity mental health, psychiatric care, and the dangers of spreading unverified accusations on social media.
Many fans are urging others to approach the topic carefully and avoid drawing conclusions without confirmed evidence, especially given the sensitive nature surrounding the late celebrities mentioned in the rumors.
