The Apgujeong ‘Box Girl’ was spotted in Hongdae.
Influencer Ah-in appeared in Hongdae, Seoul, on October 21st wearing only a box and had time to communicate with many passers-by on the street.
She asked passers-by regardless of gender to put their hands into a hole on the box and made them touch her naked chest.
Ah-in’s action in Hongdae ended when the police stopped her. Posting her activities on her personal Instagram, the influencer said, “I left because the police stopped me. I’m sorry.”
Earlier, Ah-in quickly became a hot topic after appearing on Apgujeong Street wearing a box that read “Angel Box Girl.”
In an interview on October 14th, Ah-in said she is working as a porn actress and model and has worked in karaoke places in the past.
Regarding her behavior in Apgujeong, Ah-in’s agency CEO said, “There is no problem for a man to take off his top, but if a woman takes off her top, it is regarded as a crime. We wanted to change that.“
Netizens are having divided opinions on Ah-in’s action. Some say that it should be simply viewed as art and others think it is an act that offend many people.
