On May 5, Kook Dong Ho’s agency Mood released a lengthy official statement addressing what they described as the spread of false information and defamation related to the reality show star.
According to the statement, all allegations currently circulating across online communities are completely untrue. The agency firmly stated that the claims are “groundless accusations without any evidence.”
They also addressed rumors involving third parties. “We directly verified the facts regarding individuals mentioned online (whose names were altered multiple times by the accuser). We confirmed that these individuals have absolutely no connection to this incident,” the agency explained. They added that dragging unrelated people into the situation has caused confusion and expressed strong regret over the distortion of facts.
The agency further refuted four major claims raised by the accuser, emphasizing that all of them are false. These included allegations that Kook Dong Ho orchestrated school violence through others, that he publicly humiliated someone in front of students in the so-called “cake incident,” that he abandoned his professional career as an accountant to become an influencer and caused psychological harm through media exposure, and that the accuser suffered professional damage after sharing these claims on social media.
Previously, on May 3, an online user publicly accused Kook Dong Ho via personal social media, claiming to have been a victim of school bullying by a “Single’s Inferno 4” contestant. The accuser wrote, “While the show was airing, I felt like I was living in hell. I was a victim of both school violence and workplace harassment.”
However, Kook Dong Ho has consistently denied any involvement, stating, “I clearly have no connection to these incidents.” Despite his denial, the accuser has continued to post claims, escalating the conflict between both sides.
