In a recent episode of her YouTube channel “That Ko So-young“, titled “Ko So-young’s Slow Aging Secrets”, she visited Noryangjin Fish Market with a friend she’s known for 30 years. After selecting an assortment of seafood, the pair headed to one of her regular spots and ordered drinks in broad daylight.
When asked why she enjoys day drinking, Ko explained, “It doesn’t affect my work the next day. The alcohol wears off quickly, so there’s no hangover. Last week, the two of us had four bottles of soju. We drank for so long that they kicked us out because they had a dinner reservation.” She caught attention for adding ice and lemon juice to her soju.
Clinking glasses with her friend before taking a sip, she exclaimed “It’s so good. Alcohol, spread all over my body~”, sending the scene into laughter. While enjoying sea squirt, she remarked that it was part of her health routine. Regarding her fitness habits, Ko revealed, “I weigh myself every day. If I’m even 0.5 kg over, I reset immediately. I do Pilates and meditation. When I’m feeling down, meditation helps a lot. I also started bowing gymnastics, doing 108 bows for 21 days straight. Sometimes I finish all 108 bows in seven minutes—just so I can drink.”
