The rankings of Korea’s favorite TV and video programs for July 2023 have been unveiled.
On July 24th, Korea Gallup announced the results of their survey on “Favorite TV and Video Programs for July 2023”.
According to the announcement, KBS2’s “The Real Has Come!” triumphed over 2nd place tvN’s “Earth Arcade 2”, 3rd place JTBC’s “King the Land“, as well as 4th place SBS’s “Revenant” to take the 1st place.
The survey was conducted from July 18th to 20th, with 1,000 respondents aged 18 and above on a nationwide scale. At the same time, the sampling error was ±3.1 points at a 95% confidence level, and the response rate was 9.2%. Since January 2013, Korea Gallup has been conducting surveys on “Favorite TV and Video Programs” every month and announcing the results.
In July 2023’s survey, “The Real Has Come!” recorded a preference rate of 3.7%, narrowly surpassing 2nd place “Earth Arcade 2” (3.4%) and 3rd place “King the Land” (3.2%).
On the other hand, “The Real Has Come!” portrays various aspects of “Single Parenting”, such as voluntary single childbirth, single parents’ mindset, infertility couples, and dads in their 20s. The K-drama centered around an unmarried pregnant woman and an unmarried man who enter into a false contract.
With “The Real Has Come!” taking first place in Korea Gallup’s survey, the series has become the first KBS2 weekend drama to rank 1st since the 2021 “Young Lady and Gentleman”.
On the other hand, the top 10 in Korea Gallop’s “Favorite TV and Video Programs for July 2023”, in sequential order, includes “The Real Has Come!”, “Earth Arcade 2″, “King the Land”, ”Revenant”, alongside MBC’s “I Live Alone”, KBS1’s “Apple of My Eye”, MBN’s “I Am a Natural Person”, SBS’s ‘Running Man”, SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”, and SBS’s “Unanswered Questions”.
