On Nov 21st, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama “My Demon“, which is set to premiere on Nov 24th, released an “SBS interview” video featuring Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang.
“My Demon” depicts the story of a contract marriage between Do Do-hee (Kim Yoo-jung), the devilish heiress of a conglomerate, and Jung Gu-won (Song Kang), a demon who temporarily loses his powers. This momentary loss brings them fleeting happiness but ultimately leads to hell.
The drama features a cast including Kim Yoo-jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang-yi, Kim Hae-sook, Jo Hye-joo, Kim Tae-hoon, Jo Yeon-hee, Lee Yoon-ji, Kang Seung-ho, Seo Jeong-yeon, Heo Jeong-do and other trustworthy actors, ensuring an enjoyable and captivating experience.
In the “SBS interview” released 4 days before the premiere, Kim Yoo-jung and Song Kang answered questions in “tarot cards”. Kim Yoo-jung raised anticipation by describing the story as “a contract marriage between Do Do-hee and Gu-won, where they ‘save’ each other“. Song Kang added humor, asking viewers to check the details through the drama.
Song Kang highlighted the charm of Empress Do Do-hee, “She seems chic, but she’s a very tender character inside. That aspect felt attractive.” He also praised the luxurious outfits befitting a chaebol heiress, saying they suited Do Do-hee well. When asked about the outfit that suited Do Do-hee the most, Song Kang mentioned the scene of Do Do-hee and Gu-won’s first meeting, sparking further anticipation.
Kim Yoo-jung praised the demon character Gu-won, “His charm is so overflowing. Everything about him is perfect.” She revealed that Gu-won may appear cold at first glance but is a cute character when you get to know him. She highlighted his warm side, describing him as a character who, despite appearing standoffish, cares for people around him in his own way, making Gu-won’s transformation by Song Kang even more anticipated.
