Kim Woo Bin talks about when he was an “M Countdown” MC, “It was so hard for me”

Actor Kim Woo Bin recalled the difficult moments he had when hosting Mnet’s music show “M Countdown”.

On April 25th, Arena Homme+ uploaded on its official Youtube channel an interview video of actor Kim Woo Bin.

In the video, Kim Woo Bin looked back on his filmography, including dramas, movies, and entertainment programs he has appeared in since his modeling debut at Seoul Fashion Week in 2008 until now.

Regarding the days when he was an MC for “M Countdown”, Kim Woo Bin confessed, “It was so hard for me”, drawing attention. In fact, the actor worked as an MC on “M Countdown” for about six months in 2013~2014.

Explaining the difficulties at that time, he shared, “When a new song comes out, I have to listen to it all. Of course, there’s a prompt and a script, but they sometimes turn off because it’s a live show.”

Kim Woo Bin recalled, saying “And I need to know the information about these singers to introduce them well. When the live show comes, my heart feels like it’s going to explode in the waiting room”.

Regarding a photo taken when he was hosting the show, Kim Woo Bin said, “This picture is from the last broadcast, so my face is very bright. Wouldn’t I have thought, ‘I can get out of this pressure’?”

Kim Woo Bin made his acting debut in 2011 through KBS’s special drama “White Christmas”. Since then, he has starred in various popular dramas, such as “A Gentleman’s Dignity”, “School 2013”, “The Heirs”, etc., and made his name known to the public. Last year, he met viewers through tvN’s series “Our Blues”.

Kim Woo Bin will return with a Netflix original series called “Black Knight”. “Black Knight” depicts what happens in the future Korean Peninsula when oxygen respirators are essential due to severe air pollution as legendary courier 5-8 (Kim Woo Bin) and the refugee Sa Wol (Kang Yoo Seok) confront Ryu Seok (Song Seung Heon), the successor of the Cheonmyeong Group that rules the world with oxygen as a weapon. It will be exclusively released on Netflix on May 12th.
