Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA and Hwasa to launch new variety show “Dance Singer Wanderers”
The idea of “Dance Singer Wanderers” planned by 5 singers, Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, and MAMAMOO Hwasa, will become a reality.
According to a report by SPOTV News on February 16th, Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, and Hwasa will gather together on tvN’s new entertainment program “Dance Singer Wanderers (working title)”.
“Dance Singer Wanderers” will be directed by PD Kim Tae Ho and produced by TEO, a content production company he founded. Kim Wan Sun, Uhm Jung Hwa, Lee Hyo Ri, BoA, and Hwasa will form a group of “dance singer wanderers” and travel around Korea to present historical moments of performing a national tour.
The combination of these five people was an idea planned for the first time on Lee Hyo Ri’s entertainment program “Seoul Check-in”, which aired last year. At Lee Hyo Ri’s suggestion, the five gathered at Kim Wan Sun’s house and shared talks. The project began when Lee Hyo Ri came up with an idea, saying “Like a guerrilla concert… We can hand out leaflets to promote and then perform together on a bus like a rock band”.
The idea of “Dance Singer Wanderers”, a collection of Korea’s representative legends, has become a reality with the launch of the new TV program. Gathering K-pop’s representative divas, it is expected to be the most anticipated entertainment show in 2023.
“Dance Singer Wanderers” is scheduled for the first half of this year.
