The event took place on the afternoon of August 22nd at the Chosun Palace Hotel’s The Great Hall in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul.
The Hallyu Expo was established in 2019 to enhance the sustainability of Hallyu and the competitiveness of the culture industry. It honors individuals and companies that have made significant contributions to the spread and development of K-culture over the years.
Kim Soo-hyun won the award for his role in the tvN drama “Queen of Tears.” When his name was announced as the winner, many fans in attendance erupted in enthusiastic cheers.
Receiving the trophy, Kim Soo-hyun expressed his joy, saying, “This year has been amazing because I’ve had the opportunity to work on such a great project and receive so much love. It is an honor and a pleasure to receive this precious award.”
