Through Coupang Play on Nov 26th, an online production presentation was held for the Coupang Play series “One Ordinary Day” (Director Lee Myung-woo, produced by Green Bam Media, The Studio M, Gold Medalist).  Kim Soo-hyun, who plays Kim Hyun-soo in the play, will make his comeback after a year and three months since tvN’s drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay,” which ended in August last year.

Kim Soo-hyun to return after more than 1 year with “One Ordinary Day”

As for the reason he decided to appear on “One Ordinary Day”, Kim Soo-hyun said, “I was so impressed with the original work,” adding, “I have enthusiastically watched the British ‘Criminal Justice’ and the U.S’s ‘The Night Of’, and I wanted to take on the challenge to try re-enacting the charm of British and American Hyun-soos.” He added, “If I have to describe ‘One Ordinary Day’ in one word, I think that it is a vortex in which each character’s justice collides.”

“One Ordinary Day” is an eight-part hardcore crime drama that depicts the survival of Kim Hyun-soo (Kim Soo-hyun), an ordinary college student who became a murder suspect overnight, and Shin Jung-Han (Cha Seung-won), the low-life lawyer who never look for the truth. Starring Kim Soo-hyun, Cha Seung-won and Kim Sung-gyu, this work was helmed by director Lee Myung-woo, who has been recognized for his directing skills through “Punch”, “Whispering” and “Passionate Priest”.
