Kim So Yeon Radiates Youthful Energy in Trendy Idol-Like Photoshoot at Age 44
Kim So Yeon looks hip and lively in her new photoshoot, where she sports trendy outfits and talks about “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938.”
In a fashion magazine photoshoot released on April 27th, Kim So Yeon stuns in trendy outfits from a lingerie top to a low-rise mini skirt and a cropped suit.
Kim So Yeon, who was born in 1980 and is 44 years old this year, said, “I wanted to challenge myself to a hip fashion photoshoot like an idol,” and expressed satisfaction that this would be her ‘photoshoot of a lifetime.’
In her upcoming drama, “Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938,” Kim So Yeon plays Ryu Hong Joo, who owns the most luxurious brothel in Kyungsung and is a western mountain god with tremendous power, explaining that her character has “various charms that are mischievous, bold, cute, and lovely.”
Kim So Yeon said, “I like fantasy genre dramas, so I really enjoyed watching season 1 of ‘Tale of the Nine Tailed’ while taking a break from filming ‘Penthouse.'” She added, “Going to the filming set felt like going on a picnic, and it was so exciting and fun.”
Looking back on her acting career spanning 29 years, Kim So Yeon said, “I feel that my attitude towards acting and gratitude have been well developed over a long period of time.”
She also confessed, “I still get nervous, tense, and scared when I act, just like my debut year, but when I read the script, I feel exhilarated and have a strong desire to act.“
Kim So Yeon said, “After realizing that my life is reflected in my face after my 40s, I study my expressions in front of a large mirror when practicing acting.”
When asked what kind of person she wants to become in the future, she answered, “I want to become a comfortable person. Fortunately, my face in the photos I took recently looks very comfortable.”
