On March 15, Kim Si-a shared several photos and a video on her Instagram account with the caption, “Class of ’26 baby lion,” referring to Hanyang University’s mascot and her new status as a freshman.
In the photos, Kim Si-a can be seen attending the university’s entrance ceremony. What drew particular attention was the fact that the actress, who was born in 2008, has already joined the class of 2026, making her one of the youngest students in her cohort.

Kim Si-a previously passed the middle school equivalency exam and then entered Hanlim Arts High School a year earlier than usual. Because of this, she studied alongside students born in 2007 and has now begun her university life while still legally a minor.
Meanwhile, Kim Si-a received the Best Young Actress Award at the KBS Drama Awards held in December last year. In the same year, she appeared in the drama Walking on Thin Ice, playing Park Soo-ah, the daughter of Kang Eun-soo, a character portrayed by Lee Young-ae.

During her acceptance speech, Kim Si-a confidently said, “I’ve greeted everyone as a child actress until now, but from now on I hope to meet you as actress Kim Si-a,” expressing her determination to continue growing in her acting career.
