According to News1’s coverage on the 14th, while Suzy has been cast as the female lead in ‘Hypnosis’, Kim Seon-ho has been considered for the role opposite her. Kim Seon-ho is expected to play the character Yoon I-ho, the main character and a painter, opposite Suzy.
Kim Seon-ho and Suzy previously worked together in the 2020 tvN drama ‘Start-Up’.
‘Hypnosis’ is a mystery drama set against the backdrop of Gyeongseong in 1935 and Shanghai in the 1800s. It follows the mysterious events that unfold as painter Yoon I-ho is commissioned to paint the portrait of a mesmerizing vampire woman, Song Jeong-hwa, whose true identity gradually comes to light. The series is based on a webtoon of the same name that was serialized on Naver.
‘Hypnosis’ had previously drawn attention when Ryu Jun-yeol and Han So-hee were considered for the roles. However, due to issues arising from their relationship and breakup, both decided not to participate.
Meanwhile, ‘Hypnosis’ plans to finalize its cast and begin filming within this year.
