Everyday, We is a youth romance that follows the chaotic and emotional life of seventeen-year-olds, beginning with a sudden confession from a childhood friend. The movie is based on a high-teen webtoon of the same name that recorded over 17 million views online. The late Kim Sae Ron played the main character “Yeoul,” while rising actor Lee Chae Min portrayed “Hosu,” a seventeen-year-old boy who harbors a one-sided love for her.

Meanwhile, Everyday, We was filmed five years ago, in 2021. Ahead of its release, director Kim Min Jae explained the long wait, saying, “There were special circumstances that delayed the film’s release for quite a long time. I felt some fear, but I’m happy that the movie is finally able to meet audiences.”

Speaking about the late actress, he shared heartfelt praise: “If I may dare to say this about Sae Ron as an actress, she was the best to me. Even when I explained just one thing, she would instantly deliver two or three different interpretations. There are times when a director feels frustrated because the desired cut doesn’t come out, but she always went beyond what I expected.”

He continued, “Because she was already an experienced actress, she also worked incredibly well with the other actors on set. Among all the actors I’ve met, she was truly the best. She was someone born to act and a beautiful person. I really wish she were still with us today. While there is deep regret, as a director it was an infinite honor to work with her.”
