Actor Kim Kang-woo made everyone laugh on the latest episode of SBS’s Running Man by handing over a “special” wedding gift to Kim Jong-kook — even though he wasn’t invited to the ceremony.

The episode, which aired on October 12, was themed “The World of Living in the Middle.” Guests included actors Byun Yo-han, Kim Kang-woo, Bang Hyo-rin, and Yang Se-jong, all making their first-ever appearances on the variety show.
During one mission, the cast members had to run around collecting envelopes containing “seed money.” Later, when everyone regrouped, Kim Kang-woo suddenly pulled out a white envelope with Kim Jong-kook’s name written on it.

Smiling, he said, “I couldn’t attend because I wasn’t invited, but still…” and handed it to Kim Jong-kook — who tied the knot with a non-celebrity bride on September 5 in a private family ceremony.
Kim Jong-kook curiously opened the envelope, joking, “There must have been a lot of these at my wedding.” Inside? A crisp 1,000 won bill — roughly 70 cents.

The entire cast burst into laughter as Kim Kang-woo explained, “ It’s one-third of what I earned today!”
The playful moment became one of the episode’s highlights, perfectly showcasing Kim Kang-woo’s unexpected comedic side and Kim Jong-kook’s trademark humor.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook’s wedding — attended only by close family and friends — remains one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the fall season.
