On August 28, Kim Jong-kook shared a video on his channel where he spent time with Shorry’s daughter and Ma Sun-ho’s son. Watching them arrive with bags full of children’s items, Kim jokingly asked, “Why do you have so much stuff?” to which Shorry replied, “This is your future.”
Kim Jong-kook happily played with the children, commenting, “I’m getting a lesson today,” expressing his strong desire to become a future father. However, as the kids’ boundless energy wore him out, he admitted, “This is why married couples with kids hang out together.”
Earlier, on August 18, Kim surprised fans by announcing his marriage through his fan café. He wrote: “I’m getting married. I’ve hinted here and there, but I’m sure many of you still find it sudden. This year marks my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of making the album I dreamed of, I’ve made my other half. Please congratulate and support me. Though it’s late, I’m so grateful this moment has come. I’ll do my best to live well.”
Kim Jong-kook will hold his wedding ceremony on September 5 at a venue in Seoul.
In addition, reports revealed that Kim recently purchased a luxury home in Apelbaum 2, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, for 6.2 billion KRW in cash, which will serve as his newlywed home.
