Singer Kim Jong-kook revealed that he did not stop exercising even when he was injured.
On the April 17th broadcast of SBS’s “My Little Old Boy”, Ji Sang-ryeol and Kim Jong-kook visited Kim Jong-min’s house.
Kim Jong-min appeared with a cast on his arm. He explained the reason for his injury, “I tripped over a parking block in the parking lot. My bones were cracked. I heard that if you put your arm wrong, it could be dislocated.”
In response, Kim Jong-kook said, “Didn’t you fracture your arm? Was it cracked?” and gave Spartan advice, “If you hurt one arm, you have to exercise hard by the other.”
He then added that he does not force others to do what he can’t do. He also surprised Kim Jong-min by saying, “I put a cast on my right leg and exercised by my left leg at the gym.”
Seo Jang-hoon, who was watching this in the studio, was caught off guard. He said, “It’s the schedule of professional players. It means that Kim Jong-kook is working out sincerely. Professional players don’t rest because they are injured. They will work out the uninjured parts instead.”
In addition, Kim Jong-kook surprised the audience by mentioning his hernia surgery 4 years ago, “I had a hernia surgery and started working out by pressing the surgical area from the next day.”
Ji Sang-ryeol looked at Kim Jong-kook and asked, “Who are you?” Kim Jong-min only gave a hollow smile as if he was dumbfounded.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook boasted his extraordinary love for exercise that he worked out at home even when he was diagnosed with COVID-19 and started full-scale exercise as soon as self-quarantine was lifted.
This aspect is also being revealed through various entertainment programs in which he appears.
