The 35th episode, airing on August 19, featured Cha Tae-hyun and Jang Hyuk as “Tteum friends.” Cha Tae-hyun, who holds the highest ratings record for the show and became the first guest to appear three times consecutively, played a standout role as the “official ending fairy,” adding extra fun to the finale.
During the episode, Cha Tae-hyun playfully teased Jang Hyuk about his singing skills. The moment stemmed from Jang Hyuk’s recent guest performance at Hong Kyung-min’s concert.
Cha Tae-hyun bluntly said, “Hyuk couldn’t hit the notes or keep rhythm during the concert,” causing Jang Hyuk to defend himself, claiming, “It’s just that the tone didn’t match.” Cha Tae-hyun humorously countered, “It’s not the tone, it’s the pitch that’s off,” prompting Jang Hyuk to exclaim, “Hey, you XX, it’s the tone!” Their playful exchange highlighted their genuine friendship and had the studio laughing.
Yoo Jae-suk, surprised by Jang Hyuk’s unfiltered response, laughed and suggested, “On broadcast TV, just say ‘Hey, you guy’ instead.” Jang Hyuk complied, jokingly repeating the phrase, which became a playful running gag as Cha Tae-hyun continued his teasing.
Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook confirmed his marriage announcement on his fan café on August 18, saying, “I’m getting married. Many may find this sudden. This year marks my 30th debut anniversary, and instead of an album, I made my other half. Please congratulate and support me.” He added that the wedding will be a small, private ceremony with family and close friends.
