The revelation came during the upcoming July 17 episode of KBS2’s variety show “Problem Child in House”, where Kim Jong-kook is one of the cast members alongside Song Eun-i, Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Yang Se-chan, and Joo Woo-jae. This episode marks a quiz-filled reunion of the show’s cast as they welcome former announcers-turned-successful CEOs Kim So-young and Han Seok-joon as special guests.
During the broadcast, Kim Jong-kook confidently stated, “My post-retirement job will be a trainer,” earning nods of agreement from the cast. Given his lifelong dedication to health and fitness, the announcement came as no surprise.
Co-host Joo Woo-jae added humor to the moment by suggesting Kim might run a gym at the iconic Gold’s Gym in Los Angeles, often referred to as the “mecca of bodybuilding.” He quipped, “Kim Jong-kook’s dream LA course!”, expressing admiration for the singer’s fitness legacy.
