On the August 31 broadcast of SBS’s Running Man, behind-the-scenes footage of Kim Jong Kook’s wedding announcement was revealed. Kim privately pulled each member aside, carefully saying, “If you don’t come to my wedding, it would feel a little strange.” At first, members thought it was a prank, but once the news was confirmed, they were all stunned.
When Ji Suk-jin joked, “You’re getting married? Isn’t this a YouTube concept? Or are you the bride yourself?”, Kim firmly replied, “It’s real.” Yoo Jae-suk, still doubtful, asked, “Is she someone from the entertainment industry?” Kim briefly but clearly answered, “No. She’s not in the entertainment field,” partially unveiling his fiancée’s identity.
Haha teased by bringing up Kim Jong Kook’s past on-air love line with singer Chae Yeon: “Weren’t you supposed to marry her?” Kim quickly shut it down, saying, “Are you crazy? That’s all in the past.
