ZEROBASEONE member Kim Ji Woong’s solo fan meetings in Macau and Taiwan have reportedly been canceled.

According to a report on June 24, Kim Ji Woong had been scheduled to hold fan meetings in Macau on July 11 and in Taipei on July 18. However, both events have now been called off.

Industry sources stated that the official explanation cited “unavoidable circumstances.” However, insiders reportedly pointed to weak ticket sales, which were allegedly affected by the unusually high ticket prices.

For the Macau event, the highest-tier ticket was priced at 1,588 Hong Kong dollars, equivalent to approximately 310,000 KRW. Meanwhile, premium seats for the Taipei fan meeting were sold at 5,680 Taiwan dollars, or roughly 280,000 KRW. Many fans noted that the prices were significantly higher than those typically seen for similar events in South Korea.

Regarding the cancellations, Kim Ji Woong’s agency, Nest Management, released a statement explaining that the performances had been postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

The company stated that after extensive discussions with the event organizers, they decided to delay the shows in order to deliver a higher-quality performance and a more complete stage experience for fans. The agency also confirmed that ticket refunds would be processed according to the established procedures.

Kim Ji Woong originally debuted in 2016 as a member of INX before re-debuting with ZEROBASEONE in 2023 through Mnet’s survival program Boys Planet.

In addition to his group activities, he has also been pursuing solo promotions. Earlier this month, he launched his Asian fan meeting tour with two performances held on June 20 and 21 at KBS Arena in Seoul.
