Kim Ji-won Wore Over 100 Outfits While Filming “Queen of Tears”

Actress Kim Ji-won shared the story of showcasing over 100 outfits in the drama “Queen of Tears”.

On October 7, Vogue Korea uploaded a video titled “Kim Ji-won’s Latest Perfume? Beauty Items in Her Pouch Revealed.”

In the video, Kim Ji-won introduced her essential pouch items, including perfume, a comb, and lip balm. She also showed her favorite gua sha tool, saying, “I carry small, portable items when I’m out and about.

She added, “When I go on trips or want to fully relax at home, I use a large gua sha or foam roller,” revealing her love for massage.

Kim Ji-won played the role of Hong Hae-in, a chaebol third-generation department store president, in tvN’s “Queen of Tears”, which ended last April. Reflecting on her time filming, she said, “From hair and makeup to costumes, I exuded a very cool career woman vibe. It was fun to show such a variety of styles during filming.”

When asked, “Which styling did you like more, Yeom Mi-jeong from My Liberation Notes or Hong Hae-in from ‘Queen of Tears’?” Kim replied, “My usual style is closer to Mi-jeong’s. But if I have to pick a style that I like more, it’s Hae-in’s.

She continued, “While playing Hong Hae-in, I showcased over 100 different looks. There were moments when I thought, ‘This look is really pretty.’ It was a new experience for me. So, while I prefer Hae-in’s styling, I love both characters’ styles.”

Known for being a homebody, Kim Ji-won humorously added, “If I have just one free day amid a busy schedule, I have to stay home. I catch up on laundry, listen to music, and just zone out while staring at the ceiling. The day flies by that way.”
