On May 3rd, a video featuring Kim Ji-won was released on the YouTube channel “HighZium Studio”.
Kim Ji-won said, “I’m going to rank the characters I’ve played, including Hae-in from ‘Queen of Tears’.“
Kim Ji-won introduced the characters she has portrayed, from Yoo Rachel in “The Heirs” to Yoon Myung-joo in “Descendants of the Sun”, Choi Ae-ra in “Fight for My Way”, Tan-ya in “Arthdal Chronicles”, Lee Eun-oh in “Lovestruck in the City”, Yeom Mi-jeong in “My Liberation Notes” and Hong Hae-in in “Queen of Tears”.
Kim Ji-won was asked to rank characters based on their likelihood to have the most money and chose Hong Hae-in from “Queen of Tears” as the top choice. She then selected Choi Ae-ra from “Fight for My Way” as the character she believes would cry the most, recalling how often Ae-ra cried in the series.
For characters least likely to cry, Kim Ji-won picked Hong Hae-in from “Queen of Tears” and Yoo Rachel from “The Heirs”. She explained that although Hae-in started as a cold character, her emotions surfaced more as she faced illness and realized the importance of family. She thought Yoo Rachel, being a high school student, would only cry when feeling unjust.
When asked if she actually cries a lot, Kim Ji-won mentioned she used to cry more when younger but now cries less, humorously noting that a cool woman in her thirties does not cry easily.
She then predicted Yoon Myung-joo from “Descendants of the Sun” and Choi Ae-ra from “Fight for My Way” would be the most popular characters among peers. Kim Ji-won identified Myung-joo’s cool aura and Ae-ra’s cute charm as reasons for their popularity.
Kim Ji-won imagined Tan-ya from “Arthdal Chronicles” and Yoon Myung-joo from “Descendants of the Sun” as main dancers if her characters debuted as idols. She assigned main vocalist to Choi Ae-ra from “Fight for My Way”, leader to Yeom Mi-jeong from “My Liberation Notes”, youngest member to Yoo Rachel from “The Heirs”, visual to Hong Hae-in from “Queen of Tears” and the position that combines acting and idol activities to Lee Eun-oh from “Lovestruck in the City”.
Asked what role she would play if she debuted as an idol, Kim Ji-won joked about being the “reaction specialist”, supporting and applauding fellow members.
When asked to pick her “best character”, after hesitation, she chose Hong Hae-in from “Queen of Tears”, citing lingering affection for the character. She also expressed affection for Yoon Myung-joo from “Descendants of the Sun” and Yeom Mi-jeong from “My Liberation Notes”.
