Kim Jae-joong Complains About Sasaengfans, “They Even Asked For My DNA”

On the morning of July 14th, Kim Jae-joong guested on KBS’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”. Park Myung-soo was very happy to welcome Kim Jae-joong on his radio show for the first time and met him again after a long time.

While introducing Kim Jae-joong’s new album, Park Myung-soo mentioned the story of the male singer collecting 80,000 copies to reprint. Kim Jae-joong explained, “I didn’t retake the pictures. I found a typo in the lyrics paper”.

Kim Jae-joong then gave updates on his whereabouts, including his appearance on the opening ceremony red carpet of the 28th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival as well as his cooking skills and daily life with 7 older sisters and 13 nephews and nieces revealed on “Stars’ Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant”.

Although Kim Jae-joong has been active for a very long time, he still boasts steady popularity in Japan enough to hold an arena tour. His YouTube content “Jae Friends”  also became popular. However, there’s still one thing that worries Kim Jae-joong. It’s sasaengfans.

Known as an idol who loves his fans so much, Kim Jae-joong emphasized, “Some of them (sasaengfans) even asked for my DNA. Some of them wanted to pull my hair. That’s unacceptable”. Surprised by the story, Park Myung-soo wondered, “Are there really such people?”. Kim Jae-joong added, “I encountered them several times”.

Regarding his past remark about having no intention of getting married but already having his sperm frozen, Kim Jae-joong said, “Earlier this year, around February ~ March, I disposed of them all. It has already expired. I don’t freeze it anymore because I don’t think the condition is the same as before”.

Lastly, Kim Jae-joong mentioned his new album “FLOWER GARDEN” in celebration of his 20th debut anniversary, saying “I’m doing my best to show perfect performances and will continue to perform without rest. Please so much love to the title track ‘Glorious Day’”.
