Kim Hye-yoon “Being called ‘Nation’s First Love’ is too much + I was excited when Sun-jae proposed”

Actress Kim Hye-yoon shared her thoughts on the title "Nation's First Love"

On July 26th, Singles Korea magazine released a video titled “What does Sun-jae mean to Hye-yoon, not Im Sol? 20 Questions with Hye-yoon full of excitement”.

In the video, Kim Hye-yoon commented on the title “Nation’s First Love”, “I think it’s too much, but if people call me that, I really like it.

She added, “I try to create habits for my characters, like their way of speaking or little quirks. For example, a character might often do certain actions or use specific phrases. Creating these traits makes me feel like the character’s inner world changes as well.”

Kim Hye-yoon confessed, “One thing I admire about Sol and want to learn is her unwavering positivity. No matter what problems she faces, she always gets back up positively. I don’t always do that, so the more I analyze Sol, the more I want to emulate that aspect.”

She recalled, “There was a scene where Sun-jae proposes and the ring is in his palm. Though I can’t fully imagine it, experiencing it indirectly made me understand why people get teary-eyed when receiving a proposal ring. It was a very exciting scene.”

Additionally, Kim Hye-yoon expressed, “In terms of love, I think there’s no one left to stand in the way of Sol and Sun-jae’s relationship, so I imagine they are very happy together.
