Actress Kim Hieora reportedly confirmed her appearance in a new drama starring Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun.
On April 11th, an official in the entertainment industry told JTBC Entertainment News that “Kim Hieora received a casting offer to star in the drama ‘Jeong Nyeon’ (working title) and recently confirmed her role”.
“Jeong Nyeon” depicts the stories and growth of a girl named Jeong Nyeon with natural singing talent joining a female theater group just after the Korean War in the 1950s. PD Jung Ji In of “The Red Sleeve” and screenwriter Choi Hyo Bi of “A Time Called You” will be in charge of directing and writing the script for this historical work. “Jeong Nyeon”, which is based on a popular webtoon of the same name serialized on Naver Webtoon from April 2019, will be co-produced by Studio N, npio Entertainment, and Management mmm.
Earlier, Kim Tae Ri and Shin Ye Eun also decided to appear in this drama as the main characters Yoon Jeong Nyeon and Heo Young Seo, respectively. Therefore, the joining of Kim Hieora, who recently proved her amazing acting skills through Netflix’s original series “The Glory”, is expected to create extraordinary synergy. The actress will act as a member of the female theater group.
