Kim Hee-chul mentions ‘gay gossip’ “Leeteuk asks me ‘Is this you?’ in the group chat”
Kim Hee-chul shared a bizarre incident he experienced because of Leeteuk on "Radio Star"
The March 27th broadcast of MBC’s entertainment program “Radio Star” featured Super Junior members Kim Hee-chul, Leeteuk, Yesung and Eunhyuk.
Kim Gura asked Leeteuk, “As the leader, do you have any frustrating experiences with the members?” Leeteuk opened up, saying, “There are several group chats with members, SM employees and even SM executives.“
Leeteuk continued, “But when I leave a message, it’s definitely read, but there’s no response. Accumulating such incidents made me feel upset.”
Upon hearing this, Eunhyuk revealed, “He writes unnecessary things like talking to himself. And although many members are not interested in golf, he keeps posting golf videos. Also, even though he’s a celebrity himself, he floods the group chat with celebrity gossip.”
Kim Gura questioned, “What’s the reason for posting that? Is it intended as a warning?” Leeteuk responded, “It was to let everyone know about the situation in the entertainment industry.”
Kim Hee-chul expressed his frustration, saying, “I couldn’t stand it, so I secretly left the group chat. Once, he posted gossip about male celebrities dating each other, and it turned out that I was the subject of that gossip. He posted it in a group chat with over 20 people.”
Leeteuk explained, “I was so curious that I asked, ‘Is this you?’ I posted it in a group chat with many people just in case there was a misunderstanding.”
During the episode, Kim Hee-chul, Leeteuk, Yesung and Eunhyuk drew attention with their unchanged appearances. Yesung mentioned, “Wasn’t Hee-chul famous as a boy over flowers (handsome boy)? In the past, if his visuals were heavenly, now it seems like he’s descended to the human realm.”
Yesung confidently added, “In the past, if I couldn’t even look at Hee-chul properly, now I might win with my visuals.“
To this, Kim Hee-chul remarked, “Now that I’m older, I think I should live comfortably. At the height of my career, I weighed 56kg, but now I’m 70kg.”
He reminisced about his prime years, saying, “I lived in Gangwon Province until high school and never dated. When I became an adult and went to nightclubs, older women would buy me food and pay for my taxi fare.”
He attracted attention by sharing, “I thought it was natural. Even when I was in the corner, they would notice me. During the ‘Sorry Sorry’ era, my part was only 4 seconds long, but I still received a lot of attention.“
