Kim Gyu Ri reportedly became the victim of a robbery attempt after a man in his 40s illegally entered her home in Seoul.
According to reports from Channel A on May 21, police arrested a man identified only as Mr. A on charges related to robbery and assault after he allegedly attempted to steal money from Kim Gyu Ri’s residence located in Bukchon Hanok Village in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Authorities stated that the suspect trespassed into the actress’s home before being discovered by another woman, identified as B, who was reportedly living at the residence together with Kim Gyu Ri.
After being confronted, the suspect fled the scene. However, during the escape, B reportedly suffered injuries.
Police launched a pursuit operation following the incident. Approximately three hours after the alleged crime, the suspect turned himself in at a police station in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
Investigators are currently examining whether the incident was premeditated and are also reportedly reviewing the possibility of requesting a formal arrest warrant for the suspect.
