Kim Go-eun has undergone a striking transformation for her role in the upcoming Netflix thriller The Price of Confession, shocking fans with an edgy short haircut that marks a bold departure from her usual look.

Alongside Jeon Do-yeon and Park Hae-soo, Kim promises a gripping performance in what’s expected to be an explosive synergy of powerhouse actors. On November 10, Netflix unveiled intense character still cuts featuring the trio, offering a glimpse into the dark, suspense-filled world of the series.

The Price of Confession is a mystery-thriller centered around Yoon Soo (played by Jeon Do-yeon), a woman accused of murdering her husband, and Mo-eun (played by Kim Go-eun), a mysterious figure labeled a “witch.” The two women become entangled in a dangerous deal as secrets unravel, while prosecutor Baek Dong-hoon (played by Park Hae-soo) pursues the truth behind their disturbing connection.

In one still cut, Yoon Soo is seen in an orange prison uniform, her expression a mix of shock and fear as she witnesses something alarming. Before the incident, she appears anxious and confused—but later, her eyes grow resolute, signaling a dramatic transformation. Jeon Do-yeon’s portrayal promises a deeply emotional and evolving performance.

Kim Go-eun, meanwhile, debuts a bold new look with a sharply cropped hairstyle as Mo-eun, raising curiosity about her enigmatic character. Even while being dragged away in handcuffs, Mo-eun remains expressionless, her hollow gaze adding to the chilling aura. Her eerie composure and lack of remorse suggest why she’s been branded a “witch” and hint at the terrifying nature of the crimes involved.

Also drawing attention is Park Hae-soo’s Baek Dong-hoon, who is determined to uncover the secrets between Yoon Soo and Mo-eun. In still cuts showing him investigating a blood-soaked crime scene, his intense determination is unmistakable. With razor-sharp focus, Park brings a palpable sense of tension to the series.

The Price of Confession will premiere on Netflix on December 5, and with this level of acting intensity and psychological depth, it is already one of the most anticipated K-thrillers of the year.
