On September 2, during the press conference for “Love in the Big City” (directed by Lee Eon-hee) held at Megabox Seongsu in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Kim Go-eun shared her reasons for joining the project.
Kim Go-eun said, “This is a project I’ve waited for quite a long time. I received the script two and a half years ago and have been waiting for it to be made, so I was thrilled when it finally got produced.“
She added, “I decided to join because the script was so interesting. I really liked how honest and straightforward it was.”
When asked if her intuition about success has sharpened since the success of “Exhuma”, she modestly replied, “I think it’s not bad.”
“Love in the Big City”, set to be released on October 2, tells the story of Jae-hee (played by Kim Go-eun), a free spirit who doesn’t care about what others think, and Heung-soo (played by Noh Sang-hyun), who is used to distancing himself from the world. The film explores their unique way of loving each other while living together.
