Haum, a 19-year-old member of the rookie girl group KiiiKiii, has come under fire for making an inappropriate remark during a live broadcast, drawing criticism from fans and surprising even her fellow group members.

During the livestream, member Jiyu casually reminisced, “This is the udon we used to eat often as trainees,” prompting Haum to suddenly turn to fellow member Sui and say, “Do you know what’s in Sui’s head? Udon noodles.”

Her unexpected comment startled Jiyu, who responded, “You’re going to get scolded for that.” Haum tried to deflect with a joke, replying, “No, it’s in her stomach right now,” and then added, “Sui is a fool anyway,” further escalating the situation. Other members reacted quickly, saying, “What are you doing right now?” and “That’s too disrespectful,” pointing out Haum’s problematic choice of words.

While some viewers dismissed the exchange as playful banter between close friends, many fans took issue with the use of a derogatory phrase during a public livestream. Concerns were also raised about the group’s need for media training, given all members are 19 years old and under.

As the junior group to IVE under Starship Entertainment, KiiiKiii consisting of Jiyu, Leesol, Sui, Haum, and Kya has been closely watched since their debut in March. This incident has sparked calls for the agency to provide stronger guidance on professional conduct during public appearances.
