On August 8, JYP stated, “JYP America and KG Crown have mutually agreed to part ways as she concludes her journey with VCHA. Both parties sincerely wish each other all the best in their future endeavors. Thank you.”
VCHA was formed through the large-scale project A2K (America2Korea), a collaboration between JYP Entertainment and Republic Records, the No.1 U.S. label under Universal Music Group as selected by Billboard.

The group debuted in January last year with members Lexi, Camila, Kendall, Savanna, KG and Kaylee—comprising mostly American and Canadian nationals, except for Kaylee, who holds dual nationality with Korea and the U.S. KG’s exit follows her prior lawsuit to terminate her exclusive contract, and in July, Kaylee also ended her activities with JYP through mutual agreement.
JYP has since rebranded VCHA under the new name GIRLSET. On August 7, the company unveiled the GIRLSET film and logo design via official social media channels, signaling a new chapter. Remaining members Lexi, Camila, Kendall and Savanna will continue as GIRLSET, aiming to make a bold leap into the global music market.
