Keyword “Husband’s death meal” spreads due to Lim Ji Yeon’s scene in “Lies Hidden in My Garden”

“Husband’s death meal” drew keen attention from netizens after the recent broadcast of “Lies Hidden in My Garden”.

On June 21st, a post titled “Lies Hidden in My Garden, husband’s death meal.twt” spread quickly on the online community YULDO.

OP attached the links to some Twitter posts containing scenes of Chu Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) in Genie TV’s original drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden”.

Regarding the video showing Lim Ji Yeon eating enthusiastically at a Chinese restaurant, the Twitterian exclaimed, “Chu Sang Eun got deliberated after her domestic violent husband died so she went to the restaurant to eat jjajangmyeon… It was the highlight of Lim Ji Yeon’s acting (in this episode)”

Explaining the scene, OP said, “In the drama, Chu Sang Eun, who endures domestic violence from her husband, received a call that her husband had died. After checking her dead husband at the police station, she sent her family members home first, then went to a Chinese restaurant alone. There, she ate jjajangmyeon, sweet and sour pork, fried dumplings, and then had a can of coke.”

They continued, “Reviews of the ‘husband’s death meal’ poured out on social media”, and added photos of netizens’ reviews of the ‘husband’s death meal’ on various online communities and SNS sites, such as Twitter.

As of 7 p.m. today (June 22nd), the keyword “husband’s death meal” appeared on Korea’s Top Trending with more than 3,500 tweets.

Internet users commented, “Husband’s death meal” jjajangmyeon + sweet and sour pork + fried dumplings + desert cokeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ”, “I ate husband’s death meal”, “Husband’s death meal is a trend these days”, “It’s so funny to see everyone posting pictures of jjajangmyeon and calling it ‘husband’s death meal’”, I’ve just finished husband’s death meal”, “I ordered husband’s death meal”, etc.

Meanwhile, Genie TV’s original drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden” is a suspense thriller about two women with completely different lives meeting each other due to the suspicious smell in the backyard.
