The “Petite Bourgeoisie Series,” a highly popular mystery series with over 800,000 copies sold, was created by Honobu Yonezawa, the Naoki Prize-winning author known for the “Classics Club” series, including “Hyouka.” The TV anime “Petite Bourgeoisie Series” will dive into “The Case of the Summer-Exclusive Tropical Parfait” starting from Episode 6.
Alongside the key visual and the third PV for “The Case of the Summer-Exclusive Tropical Parfait,” the synopsis and preview images for Episode 6, titled “Charlotte is Mine Alone,” have also been released.
Episode 6: Charlotte is Mine
At a summer festival’s evening fair, Kobato encounters Kosanai in a yukata. After wandering through the fair for a while, they part ways, with Kosanai asking about Kobato’s plans for the summer break. Although Kobato answers that he has no particular plans, he has a certain feeling. The next day, Kosanai suddenly visits Kobato’s house and hands him a map marking various sweet shops in the city. This marks the beginning of the “Kosanai Sweets Selection: Summer.”

The exclusive jacket illustration, drawn by character designer Atsushi Saito, has been revealed! The illustration features Kobato and Kosanai enjoying a strawberry tart at a café.

Synopsis
“Let’s help each other and aim to be perfect petite bourgeoisie.”
Having experienced bitter moments from his previous “brain work” detective activities, Kobato-kun is determined to lead a pure and modest life as a petite bourgeois. He secretly forms a “mutual benefit relationship” with his classmate Kosanai-san, who shares the same goal, intending to start his high school life as a petite bourgeois and live peaceful days. However, inexplicable incidents and misfortunes keep occurring in their school life.
