On June 3rd, Kep1er (Choi Yu-jin, Shen Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chae-hyun, Kim Da-yeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Young-eun, Kang Ye-seo) held a showcase at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul to commemorate the release of their first full album “Kep1going On”.
Kang Ye-seo said, “It was such a joyful memory, and although there might have been some shortcomings, I believe we did our best for fans and everyone who supported us. I think we continued our album activities based on mutual trust.” She continued “Above all, we are here today to introduce our first full album. Please look forward to the activities that the nine of us will showcase. I hope you always remember that we are nine sisters“, wiping away tears.
Mashiro added, “There are so many good memories of the nine members being together under the name Kep1er. We have received so much love from fans. Our goal is to show even better sides of ourselves in this promotional period as well. We ask for your warm interest and love.”
Kim Chae-hyun shared her thoughts, “We’ve shared so many stories together. Because of the bond we’ve built, we will always support each other. We will continue to maintain a good relationship as sisters with the mindset of being nine members, so please support all the members. Although this album marks our last as a nine-member group, as it is also our first full album in Korea, we hope you pay close attention to our efforts, skills and messages.“
“Kep1going On” is Kep1er’s comeback after about nine months and their first full album in Korea since their debut. The album features a total of 10 tracks across various genres, including the title track “Shooting Star”. This album is significant as it is the first and last full album presented by Kep1er as a nine-member group. Recently, Kep1er became the first Mnet project group to successfully renew their contracts, and they will continue their activities as a seven-member group.
Kep1er’s first full album “Kep1going On” was released at 6 PM today.
