Recently, 4 members of girl group Kep1er appeared on a talk show hosted by former IZ*ONE member Lee Chaeyeon.

Here, the topic of dorm life as idols were brought up, and Kep1er members mentioned that many items in their dorm, including the TV, sofa, and fridge, among others, were actually hand-me-downs from IZ*ONE.

Hearing this, Chaeyeon asked Kep1er why the group came to know of this fact, to which they revealed that a note saying “da best Hitomi” (referring to former IZ*ONE member Hitomi) was found in the freeze.

Additionally, Chaeyeon revealed that the same situation also happened to IZ*ONE, as items used by WANNA ONE were also passed down to them.

Having learned about this interesting facts, fans of the three mentioned groups (Kep1er, IZ*ONE, and WANNA ONE) suddenly developed a sense of “siblinghood”. Some even joked that the 3 were basically a “Mnet family tree”.

However, other fans started to raise questions towards the company of Kep1er, WakeOne. In particular, as WANNA ONE debuted back in 2017, items used by the group are likely from 7 years ago, so they shouldn’t be appropriate for use nowadays.

Additionally, as all 3 groups were relatively successful in their careers, the company shouldn’t be lacking in money to the point they let all of the groups use hand-me-downs.
