Karina & Ning Ning Gains Huge Attention At Stage Greeting For aespa’s Movie

aespa has completed the stage greeting for “aespa: World Tour in Cinema”, which recently aroused explosive reactions with its special event in the second week of the movie premiere, at CGV Yeondeungpo with the attendance of members Karina and NingNing on April 13th.

First of all, Karina thanked the audience for visiting the theater, saying “This movie shows our world tour performances at the O2 Area in London. It also includes interviews with the members and allows viewers to understand the preparation of a concert and feel our feelings at that time”. NingNing added, “Each stage was captured so well in the movie, and I could vividly remember how I felt when performing back then. I hope MYs (aespa’s fandom) enjoyed the movie”.

Ahead of the stage greeting, fans were able to submit their questions for the members through a Q&A event on SNS. When asked, “Which movie do you want to watch with the members at the theater?”, Karina replied, “I’ll watch ‘aespa: World Tour in Cinema’ with the members” and received a big round of applause. NingNing also shared, “Karina said she wanted to watch it together so I would definitely join her”, showing off their lovely teamwork.

Regarding the stages they did the best, NingNing said, “I did my best on all stages but I focused on the opening performances of ‘Girls’ and ‘ænergy’ a lot”. Karina added, “aespa did solo performances for the first time on this world tour so they were very special. Besides, the wind-blowing effect during ‘Salty & Sweet’ stage was so very nice”.

Like that, Karina and Ning Ning had a good time answering a variety of questions from MYs and enjoyed snacks together. They aslo took commemorative photos with MYs, participated in various activities at the event, and signed for fans.

At the request of the audience, a Singalong screening of “aespa: World Tour in Cinema” will also be held on April 20th. This Singalong screening allows fans to freely sing along and cheer with their lightsticks while watching the movie. This event will take place in a total of four theaters, including CGV Yongsan I-Park, CGV Yeondeungpo, CGV Seomyeon and CGV Gwanju Terminal. 

Marking the final show of aespa’s first world tour “aespa LIVETOUR 2023 SYNK: HYPER LINE”, “aespa: World Tour in Cinema” is available for screening at all CGV cinemas in Korean. It will also premiere in more than 50 countries around the world on April 24th.
