The prestigious awards ceremony was held on December 30 at the MBC Media Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, and was also broadcast live on Japan’s KNTV. As the first part of the show wrapped up, host Kim Sung-joo asked Kang Tae-oh how he was enjoying the event.
Kang Tae-oh responded with his usual charm, saying, “The atmosphere is really hot—it’s the kind of night that could warm up even this cold winter.” But it was his follow-up that truly made headlines.
When asked about the vibe at his table, he quipped, “It’s so hot here, I feel like taking my clothes off right now.”
The bold comment caused Kim Se-jeong, seated next to him, to burst into laughter and playfully swat his arm, while actor Jin Goo, also nearby, broke into hearty laughter.
