On March 16th, a source in the entertainment industry told Sports Chosun that Kang Mina is joining the new JTBC drama “Welcome to Samdalri” as a major cast member.
“Welcome to Samdalri” is a healing romance drama about a protagonist who, in the eyes of others, seemed to ascend magnificently like a dragon. However, he crashes to earth one day to regain his breath, after losing everything.
In this drama, Kang Mina will transform into Hae Dal, the youngest of three sisters. Raised with the love of her second sister Sam Dal (Shin Hye Sun) and eldest sister Jin Dal (Shin Dong Mi), Hae Dal is a bright and lively child who has not been tainted by the hardships she experienced at a young age. As the youngest, Kang Mina is expected to add vitality to the drama.
Prior to “Welcome to Samdalri”, Kang Mina has appeared in various dramas, such as “Tale of the Fairy”, “Moonshine”, “Café Minamdang”, “Tale of Fairy”, and “Hotel Del Luna”.
“Welcome to Samdalri” is a highly anticipated work with the participation of Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun, among other cast members. Director Cha Young Hoon, who created “When The Camellia Blooms” and “Forecasting: Love and Weather”, is taking the megaphone, while screen writer Kwon Hye Joo, who worked on “Go Back Couple” and “Hi Bye, Mama!”, is in charge of the script.
