On April 9, Kang Min Kyung, one half of beloved vocal duo Davichi, uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel “Gyang Ming Kyung” titled “Home Meal Diary: A Woman Who Has Eaten Only One Meal a Day for 10 Years.”

In the video, she appeared inside a studio decorated with a white wedding dress prominently displayed in the background. Greeting viewers with a bright smile, Kang Min Kyung suddenly declared, “Everyone, I’m getting married ^^,” instantly sending fans into shock and excitement.

However, before speculation could spread too far, she quickly revealed the truth by adding, “Just kidding,” explaining that she was actually at the studio for a bridal-themed photoshoot.

The playful moment drew laughter from fans, many of whom initially believed the singer had made a real wedding announcement.

During the video, Kang Min Kyung also spoke candidly about her experience during the shoot, sharing insight into her creative process as both an artist and model.

“As an artist, I give my opinions during shoots, and as a model, there are times when I feel limited in my poses,” she explained. “But when working with different props and concepts, the final results become much more satisfying.”

She also took the opportunity to express affection for the beauty brand she currently runs, highlighting her growing passion for entrepreneurship alongside her music career.

Kang Min Kyung has previously spoken openly about her thoughts on marriage. Earlier this year, following fellow Davichi member Lee Hae Ri’s marriage, Kang admitted that her own desire to marry had grown stronger.

In a February YouTube video, she candidly shared: “Maybe it’s time for me to find true love too. I don’t know whether I’m choosing not to marry, or if I simply can’t.”

Meanwhile, Davichi reunited with fans last October through the release of their single “Time Capsule,” continuing the duo’s long-standing reputation for emotional ballads and heartfelt performances.
