Singer Kang Daniel spent a great time at the house of his close friend, choreographer Vata.
The June 24th broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Mr. House Husband 2” showed Kang Daniel visiting Vata’s house.
That day, Kang Daniel said, “The person I visited today is a precious friend, an older brother who has been performing on the stage with me since even before my solo debut. He got injured when I was on my overseas tour and I haven’t met him again since then. He said he wanted to spend time with me. He told me to treat him to some delicious food and help him so I came.”
Kang Daniel visited Vata’s house and Vata asked him to help him change the curtains. Kang Daniel confidently said that he often assembles things himself and skillfully changed the curtains. However, upon seeing the new curtains, Vata expressed disappointment, saying “It’s not as pretty as I thought”. Kang Daniel jokingly said, “It’s not pretty at all”, so Vata asked him to change it back to the old curtain and he gladly agreed.
Kang Daniel then made beef radish soup for Vata. Surprised by the menu, Vata asked, “How do you know the way to cook it?”, Kang Daniel proudly said, “My grandfather used to make it a lot when I was young.” While Kang Daniel was cooking using the ingredients in Vata’s house, Vata jokingly said, “You are the first man to come to my house and cook for me. Marry me”. However, Kang Daniel refused, saying “No. I have no intention of getting married now”.
Later, Vata tasted the food Kang Daniel cooked and showed admiration. When Vata asked, “How did you learn to cook?”, Kang Daniel confessed, “When I came to Seoul, I lived with my brothers. They made various dishes for me, like kimchi stew and pancakes, so I found cooking interesting.”
Vata then mentioned Kang Daniel’s new album, asking “You’re making a comeback. Do you like the song and the choreography this time?”. In response, Kang Daniel replied, “Everything seems to go well. I did everything I wanted to do. Didn’t we shoot the music video in the desert this time? I was fine with wearing thick clothes, but the staff suffered a lot. Their ears went red, and even the soles of their feet got burned. They also got sand in their mouths. I did everything I wanted to do, including directing and concept”, raising fans’ expectations.
Kang Daniel and Vata also took a walk in Hangang Park. Kang Daniel shared, “Later when I turn 30, I want to travel around the world alone. Interestingly, I started to be interested in traveling after doing the overseas tour. I need to prepare some time for myself. Since my job involves expressing myself physically, so if I’m feeling negative, it all shows. That’s strange”. Vata agreed, saying, “If the choreographer gets stressed out, they can’t come up with a nice dance.”
