Japanese actor and former KAT-TUN member Kamenashi Kazuya has officially announced his marriage to actress and former television announcer Minami Tanaka, delighting fans with another joyful piece of news the couple is expecting their first child.

The announcement was made on June 29 through Kamenashi’s official fan club website, where he shared a handwritten letter confirming both his marriage and his wife’s pregnancy.

In his heartfelt message to fans, Kamenashi wrote: “I have entered into marriage with Minami Tanaka. Kamenashi Kazuya and Minami Tanaka first met in 2023 during a fashion magazine photo shoot. Their relationship reportedly deepened after they reunited while filming the 2024 television drama Destiny, where they worked together as co-stars.
