Singer K.Will, who took a photo of a ballot and posted it on SNS, apologized.
On March 4th, K.Will posted an apology on his SNS, saying, “I would like to apologize for the post that I uploaded after the pre-voting through SNS this morning.”
He said, “I am deeply reflecting on the inconvenience that I have caused to many people, including my fans, by acting inappropriately due to my ignorance. I will try to act with more attention in the future. I am sorry.”
While the pre-voting for the 20th presidential election was being conducted, K.Will posted a photo of his participation in the pre-voting on his SNS. However, the method became a problem. What K.Will uploaded was a ballot taken inside the voting booth.
The National Election Commission prohibits taking pictures of ballots and posting them online. Violation of this rule can result in imprisonment of up to 2 years or a fine of up to 4 million won under the Public Official Election Act.
K.Will immediately deleted his SNS post when the voting proof shot became controversial, and later posted an apology.
