JYJ’s Junsu mentioned former TVXQ bandmates Yunho and Changmin, “Please support them”

During his Japanese concert, Kim Junsu recalled his days as a member of TVXQ over 10 years ago.

JYJ’s Junsu mentioned his former group, TVXQ at the ‘KIM JUNSU 2022 CONCERT ‘DIMENSION’ IN TOKYO’ concert held in Tokyo, Japan on July 8th.

During the concert, Junsu sang “Asu Wa Kuru Kara”, a TVXQ’s song during their time as a five-member group. The male singer expressed his feelings after singing a song that brought him much nostalgia. He spoke fluently in Japanese in front of his fans as he has been active in Japan for a long time.

Junsu said, “Especially because the last song (Asu Wa Kuru Kara) is a TVXQ’s song, a lot of complicated feelings and memories came to me while singing it.” He then asked the fans, “Are there people who have been fans since TVXQ?” Most of the fans were surprised by the question and raised their hands.

Junsu continued, “Thank you so much (for loving me) for a long time. I have quite a lot of pleasant memories.” He added, “Thank you for liking me, and please show support for Yunho and Changmin as well.”

When he mentioned the names of Yunho and Changmin, cheers erupted in the audience. At the loud cheers, Junsu shyly smiled.

After this story was shared on Twitter, fans and casual listeners who remember TVXQ’s past activities as five expressed their joy and left comments, “It has been a long time for them to be able to mention each other like this.

Kim Junsu debuted in TVXQ in 2003 along with Jung Yunho, Shim Changmin, Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun. In 2009, he filed a lawsuit with Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun over an unfair contract with SM Entertainment. The three then left SM and formed their own group JYJ. Currently, due to Park Yoochun’s problems over his personal life and drug use, it is virtually impossible for JYJ to continue their promotions as a whole.
