On December 29th, Jung Woo-sung took a photo of Lee Sun-kyun’s portrait and posted it on his social media account to pay tribute to the late actor.
In the caption, Jung Woo-sung quoted Lee Sun-kyun’s famous line in his hit drama “My Mister”, saying “Sun-kyun, have you found peace? I hope you are already at peace”.
Lee Sun-kyun passed away at the age of 48 on December 27th. He was laid to rest at the funeral hall of Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul at 12 ap.m. on the 29th.
Fellow actors who were close to the deceased when he was alive such as Jung Woo-sung, Kim Eui-sung, Lee Sung-min, Park Sung-min, Cho Jin-woong, etc., participated in the funeral procession and bid their last farewell to the deceased.
Meanwhile, Lee Sun-kyun had been under drug investigation since October before his passing. After attending police summons three times and receiving negative results in all kinds of drug tests, the late actor consistently denied drug allegations.
