The 2024 Buil Film Awards were held at Signiel Busan in Haeundae-gu, Busan, Korea on the afternoon of October 3rd. Actor Kim Dong-wook appeared as the MC along side Go Ah-sung for this event.
The movie “Revolver” won the grand prize (Daesang) for Best Film. Han Jae-duk, the CEO of the production company Men’s Pictures, gave the honor to the cast and expressed his gratitude to the lead, Jeon Do-yeon, saying, “This prize is given to me thanks to Jeon Do-yeon.”
“This award is too heavy for me to hold alone,” said Jung Woo-sung, who won the Best Actor award for “12.12: The Day.” “It was Hwang Jung-min who shed more light on his anguish as the villain from the opposite side of Lee Tae-shin. I keep thinking of Jung-min as Jeon Du-kwang. Thank you.”
Kim Geum-soon of “Jeong-sun” won the Best Actress Award. “My heart is about to explode. Thank you for giving me such a precious award,” she said, expressing her overwhelming feelings.
Lim Ji-yeon won Best Supporting Actress and said in her speech, “I won the Best New Actress Award at Buil Film Awards 10 years ago. Now I stand here for the first time in 10 years and receive the Best Supporting Actress Award,” expressing her deep relationship with the award ceremony.
In addition, Kim Young-sung of “Big Sleep” won the Best New Actor Award and Jung Soo-jung of “Cobweb” won the Best New Actress Award.
