Jung Hae-in “I Experienced PTSD During the Filming of ‘D.P.’ + I Often Had Nightmares”

Actor Jung Hae-in shared some behind-the-scenes details about filming "D.P."

On Sep 12th, Jung Hae-in appeared on the YouTube channel “Zzanbro Shin Dong-yup – Shoot Bro”.

In the released video, Shin Dong-yup mentioned, “I’ve seen your interviews where you said, ‘D.P. was challenging.’Jung Hae-in responded, “Not just the storyline but all the main messages of the series. I had to shave my hair again. I had a lot of nightmares while filming that. I dreamt that I had to reenlist.

He continued, “It took such a toll on me when on set I had to say my character’s name. But because it felt so real and it brought me back to when I served, I’d say my real name instead. I had PTSD in the beginning.”

Shin Dong-yup commented, “But him in the uniform… People talk about personal color. People say his personal color is ‘uniform’.” Jung Hae-in replied, “I’ve been cast to play soldiers and policemen a lot. I’ve worn a lot of uniforms. They’re… really comfy. I didn’t even wear makeup during the filming of ‘D.P..
