Jung Eun-ji of Apink Confesses Honest Feelings as All Other Members Depart

Apink’s Jung Eun-ji expressed her feelings regarding her contract renewal.

IST Entertainment, Apink’s agency, officially announced on the 28th that they have decided not to renew the exclusive contracts of members Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Kim Nam-joo, and Oh Ha-young after careful consideration. However, they will continue their relationship with Jung Eun-ji through a recent contract renewal.

In response, Jung Eun-ji wrote a candid post on the fan communication platform Weverse, saying, “Nothing will change. Don’t worry even if it doesn’t get serious. Apink will continue on in the future,” reassuring fans.

The agency also stated in an official statement, “All members have a strong will and affection for group activities and will maintain team activities without dissolution. We will make efforts to cooperate with them in future activities and ensure that they can continue to protect the team.”

Meanwhile, Apink debuted as a seven-member girl group in 2011. However, with the departure of Hong Yoo-kyung in 2013 and Son Na-eun last year, the group has recently been reorganized as a five-member group. On the 5th of last month, they released their 10th mini-album, ‘SELF,’ and have been actively promoting as a long-lasting girl group.
