Joo Won reveals he meets up with BIGBANG’s Taeyang and Daesung, Beenzino, Go Kyung Pyo the most after discharge 

These male celebrities became close during their military service. 

Actor Joo Won, who is about to make a comeback in Netflix’s original film “Carter”, appeared as a guest on SBS Power FM’s radio program “Cultwo Show”, which was broadcast on August 4th. 

On this day, it was revealed that Joo Won was kind and exemplary when he was serving in the army. Joo Won then told anecdotes about his active role as an assistant instructor during his military service and mentioned other male celebrities.

Joo Won revealed that because they matched well, he became close to BIGBANG’s Daesung and Taeyang, rapper Beenzino, and actor Go Kyung Pyo who were serving at the same time. Even after discharge, they still meet up. 

When asked who often pays when they dine together, Joo Won answered, “We always bet when we eat. We played rock-paper-scissors or zero, and Daesung paid the most.”

When asked to select between “enlisting one more time” and “filming ‘Carter’ one more time”, Joo Won said, “I had so much fun during my military life,” but still chose “filming ‘Carter’ one more time”, drawing laughter. 

Meanwhile, Netflix’s action-packed film “Carter”, which is expected to show Joo Won’s most intense transformation in his entire career, will be released on August 5th.
