Joo Hyun-young, who plays the role of Woo Young-woo (Park Eun-bin)’s best friend Dong Geu-ra-mi in ENA’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” (scripted by Moon Ji-woon/ directed by Yoo In-sik), is receiving favorable reviews for her lively and playful acting performance that increased the viewers’ immersion in the drama. She is portraying Dong Geu-ra-mi so perfectly that the audience named her “Dol-a-i”.
Joo Hyun-young made her debut through the 2019 movie “Pelicula” and drew attention after appearing in the web drama “Best Mistake”. She gained huge popularity after appearing in Coupang Play’s original program “SNL Korea Reboot” as a cast member.
She received Best Female Variety Performer and Best New Female Entertainment at the Baeksang Arts Awards and the Blue Dragon Series Awards this year.
